Our Open Letter To Mothers Everywhere

You know her.

The woman who wakes up one day and realizes she’s been living a life built on shoulds. The one who starts making small, brave moves to defy the conditioning that told her to stay quiet, small, and agreeable.

Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. Once you feel it, you can’t go back.

That fire, the one that rises in your chest when you realize you can live for you, changes everything. It’s the quiet courage to make values-based choices even when there are repercussions. It’s stepping into the unknown because you refuse to live in resentment, frustration, and exhaustion anymore.

We see that fire in so many women who have awakened to the systems holding us back and said: No. I’m charting a new path. And we see it in you.

But here’s the truth: Many women never get to this point. And if they do, it's not until later in life, after caregiving, careers, and responsibilities finally let up or they hit rock bottom. We don’t want us to have to wait decades or experience unnecessary suffering for this awakening

That’s why we're building Confidante.

Moms and women need bite-sized, always-available moments to see the systems at play, to remember to be compassionate to themselves, to hear you are not failing, the systems are. They need spaces that center them, validate them, and hold them accountable to living by their values, not by someone else’s rules.

And yes, technology can and must be part of that.

It’s tempting to think tech can’t possibly belong in a movement like this. But we believe we’ve been conditioned to think that, so that the very people who built the systems against us could also control the tools of connection and power. Right now, the platforms we have are leaving moms more judged, more alone, and less confident than ever.

We can build it differently, safely, securely, ethically.

We can turn tech into a tool that sparks awakening, connection, and power for women and mothers everywhere.

Confidante is designed to look like a “quick fix” (because that’s all we often have time for), but really, it’s an unraveling. It’s an invitation to see the truth and start living differently, one small conversation at a time.

We’ve built the infrastructure. Now, we need the believers. We need the women who see this as part of the path forward.
